Why I work from home...

I decided to work from in 1999 when my husband was transferred in the military. Well when I say I decided my company decided to keep me on and be the first to telecommute within the company. This was my first time working from home, my daughter was 2 at the time and I thought wOw! this will be great.

Well, I learned a lot in that first month. I had to definitely learn time management with my daughter at home, and the hours I worked. It was difficult at first until I came up with a way to balance my life with my baby girl, husband, and work. Did you see how I placed it in that order? It was fun and exciting once I got into the groove of it all. I was able to travel back to Florida for business meetings few times out of the year. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my freedom. When I say freedom it just felt good not to be apart of the office politics.

Working from home is not for everyone it really takes a certain type of person. I would have to say you have to be dedicated, self-motivated, and self-disciplined to complete the tasks that you need to get done. If you're that special one then you totally get what I am saying. I just wanted to show moms how they can do it too. I've been on the internet since 1999 and I have learned so much over the years and I can honestly tell you that I know how to find the right opportunities. I know that everyone is not looking to start a business so I love to show moms how they can still create the life they want whether it is to spend more time with your kids or like me transferring with your spouse.

There are so many different reason why moms want to work from home. I hope that you find my daily life as a work/stay at home mom to be informative and hopefully we will connect soon.
